Some colours stay with you: a forest after rain, or the green of a birthstone given in May. This necklace keeps that colour close, sitting just below the collarbone and catching the eye in candlelight or daylight. At its centre is a 1.09-carat cushion-cut lab-created emerald, turned on point so the soft square reads as a diamond shape. Grown to share the crystal structure of a mined emerald, it shows a rich, even green that moves from bright spring tones to deep jade as the light shifts, held by four polished prongs. A halo of round diamonds (0.06 carats total) frames the stone in fine white light, set close to sharpen the outline without crowding the colour. The setting is fixed to a delicate diamond-cut cable chain in 10K white gold, so the necklace hangs as one piece and catches light along every link.
